We are getting great turnouts. This is great. Thanks to all for coming out.
Introductions were made and Craig talked about the Bellefonte brewery opening that is now scheduled for May 21, 2016. Come out and support our fellow brewer.
Chuck McKenna also discussed the possibility of a table at the National Homebrew Conference in Baltimore. This would be for club night. Contact Chuck if you want to participate.
Tom was brewing that night and gave us a great all grain demonstration. I hope everyone had the chance to get to the garage to keep track of the brew day.
Scott Bieber had a great activity trying to place the top 50 craft breweries with their location on a map. It was a lot of fun with a lot of discussion generated. Thanks Scott.
On the club’s Facebook Group the week prior to the meeting there was a lengthly discussion by Scott Bieber, Ralph Barthold and others on the pros and cons to serving/drinking from the “proper” glassware for the beer style. To have a little fun with that, Tom Kennedy purchased an assorted glassware set to give away. Scott Bieber, ironically, was the lucky raffle winner. :-)
We would again like to thank Tom for hosting the meeting as such a gracious host.
Also, we thank Tom’s daughter, Shannon, for providing her homemade beer cupcakes! They were delicious! :-)
