Jan 2011

The November meeting of the First State Brewers was held at Jeff & Dawn Longfellow’s house. Jeff had an interesting Holiday Spice homebrew to share as well as an assortment of beers from the North Coast Brewing Co in Ft. Bragg, CA. The turnout was light, so the scheduled club elections were postponed.

Nominations will remain open for the start of the January meeting. After all nominations have been accepted or rejected, the vote will be taken.

The January meeting will be at the Fordham Brewery in Dover.

The meeting will be Wednesday, 1/19 at 6:00pm.

Please make note of this special day and time. It’s a Wednesday night from 6:00 til 9:00.

Thanks go out to Walter Trifari, Head Brewer/Operations at Fordham for allowing us to hold our meeting there.

Additionally, Monica Boyer from the lower Delaware brew club, DUH, has asked if their club could join us. I though that would be great and Walter agreed. So, we can expect to see some downstate homebrewers, as well! :-)

Please RSVP to me. Walter has asked for a head count.

If anyone needs a ride to Dover, please let me know. If you make it to my house in Middletown, you can ride with me in my big-hulking Yukon XL.
