The January meeting of the First State Brewers was held at the Fordham Brewery. Thanks go out to Walter Trifari, Head Brewer/Operations at Fordham for allowing us to hold our meeting there. Inside the brewery was a line up of about a half dozen of the different Fordham or Old Dominion beers on tap. We were all given a tasting glass and were invited to taste as much as we wanted. :-)
Joining us at the brewery were members of the lower Delaware brew club, DUH. It was great to talk to the other group of homebrewers as well as some of the Fordham employees that stayed late to help manage the event.

During the meeting, Walter was handing out fliers advertising a homebrew competition this summer called Delaware State Fair Battle of the Brews. Click on the link for more details.
Due to the social nature of the meeting and the presence of the other brew club, the club election was pushed back another month. Nominations will remain open for the start of the February meeting. After all nominations have been accepted or rejected, the vote will be taken.
