That’s right. In order to pay less taxes, the Kirin Brewery Co. in Japan is making low-malt and malt-free beverages. That is D I scusting!

Well, that’s been the situation in the UK for years. Taxation based on alchohol level. Hence the large disparity between US IPA/Barlywines and those in England and I don’t mean the hops.
