Big Brew
The First State Brewers will be brewing Saturday, May 5, 2012.
The Big Brew is sponsored by the American Homebrewers Association in celebration of National Homebrew Day, which is recognized each year on the first Saturday in May all around the world.
This year’s Big Brew will be at Scott Bieber’s house in Middletown, DE.
Bring your brewing equipment and brew your own beer or just come to observe and learn.
All-grain brewing takes 6 hours, so plan on coming early and staying late!
Setup of brewing systems will begin at 8:00 am. Brewing should begin shortly after the systems are setup.
We will brew rain or shine!

Once again, Justin Sproul from the Iron Hill Brewery in Newark has donated a 50 lb bag of malt for us to use! Grain will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve reservation basis. So, if you’d like to use some of this Briess 2-row Malt for your brew, let me know!
