Good gracious
I’ve got some fat sacks. You know you want some. I picked up 3 bags of Breiss 2-row Brewer’s malt from HDYB today – Joe cut me a deal since I bought 3 at a time. Add that to the sack of pilsner and 1/2 sack of Maris Otter – I gots the goods.
My peated scottish brewed on Sunday is winding down… just in time for a 20 gallon batch this weekend of American Brown Ale with my buddy Brian. The sack of Weyermann Pilsner comes courtesy of Brian as well – Thanks a ton, man. Very cool. We’ll use the rest of the Maris Otter (top bag – about 25 lbs left in there) with a portion of Briess 2-Row Brewer’s malt this weekend, repitching yeast from our batch of Saturday IPA a few weeks ago. This batch won’t use nearly the hop bill the last one did – I think right now we’re only looking at 6 or 7 ounces for 20 gallons, whereas we used 24 oz in that IPA.

Yesterday when I attempted to comment and thank you for making the change I suggested upon clicking submit there would appear a message saying "Your message is too long. We don't like spam around here . Try again" Anything over 5 characters would get that response and anything with4 or less characters would get a message "Your comment is too short. Try again" But it ain't happening now.

How Do You Brew? is an excellent brewing and winemaking supply store located in Newark, DE.
The Twin Lakes Brewery is a 25 barrel steam fired gravity fed four vessel brew house. They only use whole flower hops. The water comes from a deep rock aquifer located on the farm, a 252 acre historic farm established in 1826. Their goal is not to make extreme beers but to make extremely drinkable beers, such as Route 52 Pilsner & Greenville Pale Ale.
Iron Hill Brewery is a local chain of brewpubs with great beer and food!
Stewart's Brewing Co. is a local brewpub in Bear, Delaware with a fun party atmosphere!
Dogfish Head Brewery brews some of the best beer in the world and they're located right here in Delaware!
Fordham Brewing Co. brews some great beer in Delaware, as well!
Delmarva United Homebrewers aka. DUH. We brew, we drink, we have a little fun. Meetings are the second Thursday of every month at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Summer meetings are held elsewhere, unless we get an invite. (This is a great club for people living down-state!)
